ProjectVR4 was born out of a simple obsession: keeping the Mitsubishi Legnum & Galant VR-4 alive. These cars are rare, they're fast, and they deserve better than being left to rot in a paddock because nobody could find the right part. That's where we come in.
Who We Are
We're not a big-box auto parts store. We're VR-4 guys — we've owned them, broken them, fixed them, and spent way too many weekends under them. Quinton started ProjectVR4 because he kept running into the same problem other owners faced: genuine, quality VR-4 parts were nearly impossible to find. So he decided to fix that.
How We Source Our Parts
Every part we sell comes from wrecked or old project cars — vehicles we personally acquire and strip down. We don't buy mystery pallets from overseas or resell parts we've never seen. When a car comes in, we go through it properly: pulling what's usable, assessing condition honestly, and setting aside anything that doesn't meet the bar.
Our Currently Wrecking collection gives you a look at exactly where our parts come from — real cars, real history. We think that transparency matters, especially when you're spending good money on a used component.
Quality You Can Trust
Used parts are used parts — we're not going to pretend otherwise. What we will promise is that we inspect and test everything before it goes up for sale. Electrical components are tested. Mechanical parts are checked for wear. Anything that's borderline doesn't make the cut.
Every listing describes condition accurately. No mystery grades, no vague detail. If there's a mark, a scuff, or something worth knowing about, it'll be in the listing.
